New York Bag Ban
Posted on March 01 2020
HAPPENING NOW AND IT'S ABOUT TIME.
GREAT news -- Today, New York became the second US state to ban plastic bags. This is a big step in the right direction. According to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), New Yorkers use 23 billion plastic bags every year. In this day and age, that's unnecessary if you ask us. Most plastic bags end up in landfills, where they can last up to 1,000 years while some make their way into the ocean (no thank you). We like our land, water, and air clean, please.
BYOBag, it’s cuter anyway!
